The Grove Infant and Nursery School

Achieving our potential in our creative learning community

Ofsted Interim Report

In April 2011 we received information about exemption from the inspection cycle for 'Outstanding' schools.  It was decided at this time that Ofsted would monitor the outcomes of children in schools such as ours without inspection visits.

Ofsted Report 2008

Please find below our most 'recent' Ofsted report.  We recognise that this inspection was some time ago!  Since 2008 we have continued to improve and innovate to maintain high standards in our provision.  We are delighted that outcomes for children have remained high and the curriculum we deliver is tailored to our children, and is broad and interesting.

Performance Tables

You can find out more about our school by following this link to the DfE website: it helps parents to compare specific data against local and national averages.

Parent View

Can you help us?  We would be very grateful if all parents could complete the Ofsted Parent View questionnaire on line.  This is a simple form – largely the same as the questionnaire we ask parents to complete for us in the spring term - that is used by Ofsted to get a snap shot of parental opinion at a school.  Every summer the data is stored, and if sufficient families have gone on line a simple summary is available for parents, prospective parents and Ofsted themselves.

If you are one of our current parents, please try to take 5 minutes and support us by doing this.  Use the link and you will find it is very quick and easy to register.  It would be fantastic if parents were able to do it BEFORE Ofsted announced they were coming!

REMEMBER - Parent View is a way of registering your views, but if you have an issue or a problem at school it is essential that you go and speak to staff about it, either the class teacher or the Head teacher: unless you do so they may not be aware and cannot help you or your child!
