The Parent Teacher Association
As a Grove parent you are automatically a member of the The Grove Schools' Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and we are very grateful for any contribution that you are able to offer. The aims of the PTA are to promote broader contact between parents and staff, and to run activities to support the schools and advance the children’s education. We have been very proud to have raised funds which have helped provide ipads and resources and created a wonderful outside area for the schools. The PTA have an Annual Meeting at which the Committee are elected, a Zoom meeting every month (usually the first Tuesday at 8.00 pm), and an extensive programme of social and fundraising functions throughout the year.

In a typical year, the PTA organises a fantastic range of events:
- Second hand Uniform Sales
- Creche facilities for year group assemblies
- Halloween Discos
- Firework Display tickets
- Christmas cards
- Panto tickets
- Quiz Night
- Hamper Raffle
- Easter Trails
- Sponsored Fun Run / Readathon
- Summer Festival
- Summer Ball
- After school ice cream sales
Fundraising is not just limited to these events - throughout the year there is the opportunity to shop online to raise money for The Grove Schools. You can also donate through any workplace giving schemes.
